Mr. Carl Eli Pomeyie is a business professional with extensive experience in leading startups within the fintech and digital payments industry. He has a strong background in sales and distribution, mobile money, product development, and agent network management.

Throughout his career, Carl has led teams in the telecommunications and fintech sectors, providing strategic leadership, guidance, and collaboration to drive business growth and achieve mutually beneficial goals. He has held leadership roles at multinational companies, including Millicom and Transsnet Payments, where he played a key role in expanding financial services and driving digital transformation.

With over a decade of experience in Ghana’s digital economy, Carl has been instrumental in developing and implementing fintech solutions that enhance financial inclusion. He is passionate about extending financial services to underserved populations, recognizing it as a powerful tool for improving lives and reducing poverty.

Carl holds an MBA from GIMPA Business School and has completed certifications from the Digital Frontiers Institute in partnership with Tufts University, further strengthening his expertise in digital finance and financial inclusion.

In February 2022, Carl joined the ASA family as a Senior Project Manager, leading the implementation of the SMP project in Ghana. He is committed to leveraging his skills and experience to create additional value for ASA customers worldwide over the next two years.
